Neptune is a mission-driven snack food brand that makes healthy, sustainable fish jerky. Each of Neptune’s four flavors have won awards for taste, texture, and quality, including in blind taste tests against traditional jerkies. In other words, the snacks we make stand alone as an irresistibly delicious on-the-go protein snack! However, we are most passionate about bringing the most nutritious, sustainable seafood available into the snacking category. Our tasty jerkies have 25g of protein & 450-580mg omega-3s/pack and are low calorie with almost no saturated fat. The jerky is also gluten free, non-GMO, all natural, nut/dairy free, and a good source of vitamins D & E and Selenium. Every packet is 100% traceable to the US West Coast fish, fisherman, and fishery it was caught, and Neptune’s model utilizes white-tablecloth quality but “underloved” species and cuts. In doing so, we target a needless waste stream, inefficiencies in the seafood supply chain, and a lack of diversity in North Americans’ consumption of seafood--all with a delicious and innovative solution!
